"CRYPTOCURRENCY ENTHUSIASTS DEMAND DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME DELAY TO RECOVER LOST HOUR OF TRADING"

March 14, 2025
March 14, 2025 — In an unprecedented display of economic anxiety, crypto traders have filed a petition with the World Clock Consortium (WCC) seeking to abolish the antiquated practice of daylight savings. This comes after a tumultuous dip in the BitDollar market last Sunday, coincidentally aligning with clocks springing forward.
The movement, dubbed "Save Our Crypto Hours" (SOCH), argues that the hour lost to daylight savings could have been used to mitigate losses during Asia's market opening. "It’s not just about the money," says SOCH founder, Max Ledger. "It's about the global synchronization of panic selling."
Economists have raised eyebrows over the petition, with one noted scholar jesting, "Next, they'll want the Earth's rotation slowed for longer trading days." Meanwhile, the WCC has yet to respond, possibly still adjusting their clocks.
